The Dress

I felt incredible from the moment I put this dress on for the very first time. The colour, detailing, fabric and bow are sensational. This dress is so flattering and romantic, with perfect draping and an exaggerated bow at the back of the dress. There’s also internal boning for structure, cinching at the waist to show off the figure, and a thigh split. It’s the most comfortable and stunning dress! The fabric is a gorgeous Silk Wool blend, which is soft on the skin and breathable, so you can last as long as you need in it. The train is detachable, making the dress extremely versatile and offers two different looks for the bride. I felt amazing in this dress and would love if another bride had the opportunity to feel as incredible as I did. The dress is from Rachel Gilbert’s current bridal collection. Garment bag included as well. It’s in as-new condition, I’ve looked after it and got it dry cleaned straight after my wedding by a specialist wedding dress dry cleaner for $600. Alterations

The dress is an AU size 8 (equivalent to size 1 on Rachel Gilbert’s website). I had the bust taken in and the hem taken up. Alterations were completed by a professional tailor recommended by Rachel Gilbert. The detachable train has not been altered at all. BUST: I had the bust taken in to an AU size 6 for a tighter fit across my chest. I’m a standard size 8 but have a slightly smaller bust. It can be taken back out by half a size. HEM: I had the hem taken up. I’m 160cm tall and wore 10.5cm heels. My height on the day was 170.5cm.
