The Dress

Belle & Bunty are two London designers, their dresses are handmade to order in London.

According to their website their dresses combine glamour, modernity and romance for a modern day bride wanting a unique, luxurious gown. The label focuses on the exploration of all things feminine by offering the perfect balance of proportions, designed to accentuate a woman’s natural shape. understated elegance, the collection’s infuse pure glamour and femininity, inspired by the best of bygone eras, such as the 1930′s, 1940′s & 1970’s, whilst continuing the brand's modern and unique take on the vintage feel.

This dress hangs beautifully and I felt amazing in it. It's simple but the fabric feels so luxurious and special and it was so fun to wear. It is made of silk chiffon with layers of silk underneath.

I'm very sad to be selling it but it's just been boxed up in my cupboard and would prefer it to be worn again.

It has beautiful handmade silk flowers at the base of the straps and in the centre. It is very flowy and comfortable to wear and the train can be hooked up for dancing.

There are some very very minor flaws where the material has caught. These are not noticeable but wanted to mention it. I had it professionally cleaned and boxed and it still looks flawless. I still have the offcuts in case anybody needs them for alterations. The handmade silk flowers are slightly frayed but this is just because of the nature of the fabric, they were the same before my wedding and they were tidied up. They will look perfect again. I got married a few years ago but I had it cleaned and boxed and it has been stored perfectly.

Alterations

It was altered to fit me by a professional seamstress. They put thin pads in the bra area so that a bra is not needed.
