The Dress

This 'Aspen' dress is truly a masterpiece by Jenny Packham! Classic and elegant. The details are so gorgeous and I just hope the pictures do it justice!

I wore this dress on my wedding day in July 2014 for only a few hours and I loved every minute of it! The dress feels so soft, light and really comfortable. It took me a while to decide to let the dress go, I can't justify having it sit in my closet when it could be loved and enjoyed by another bride.

I bought a dress from the Jenny Packham boutique in Hong Kong. I knew it was 'the one' as soon as I tried it on. This dress is a gorgeous ivory silk, with a lace back, lace cap sleeves and lace detailing in the bodice. It has a short train and I had a loop added so I could walk and dance more easily.

It is a Jenny Packham size UK16 (which is about UK 14 street size). I'm a small UK 14 and this dress makes your waist looked very slim and elongates the appearance of your legs!!

I had the dress altered slightly by the Jenny Packham boutique seamstress due to weight loss when the dress arrived. The waist was taking in a bit and now measured at 29 inches. I had it taken up at the hem slightly. I'm 166cm tall and was wearing a 3" heels. I also had a sheer fabric inserted underneath the lace in the front of the dress to make it a bit less revealing as the dress is already very sexy. You can have this removed easily.

I had the dress professionally dry-cleaned straight after the wedding and it is in perfect condition and there is no markings. RRP HKD 40,300 so the listed price is a dramatic reduction.
